As a creative group, the muse is constantly knocking at our door, sweet-talking us into flights of fancy that we turn into the ideas, pictures, words, and visual schemes. We are constantly explaining to our families, friends and the odd acquaintance at parties, exactly what it is we do. Don’t get us wrong, we love the creative life, but it feels good every once in a while to share our thoughts with other like-minded people.
Al2r Ego is a stage, a soapbox, an outlet for energy, thought, opinion and occasionally, some pure nonsense. We wouldn’t have it any other way.
There is no guarantee of objectivity at Al2r Ego, we calls ‘em as we sees ‘em.
Some of our posts might be a couple of sentences, some a bit longer (Tolstoi, wherever he may be, needn’t worry). Some may be a bit abstract, others to the point like cold-water-in-the-face. All will be truthful reflections of what we Al2r Egoists think.
Having been around the block a time or two, our collective experience has come with quite a few lessons learned (and some taught), and we will occasionally impart something of what we know, and that ain’t bad.
OK, we know that any public forum can be like the dunk-tank at the county fair. We expect some digital tomatoes and other verbal objects flung our way, occasionally. Fair enough.

Love, love, love al2r ego, a friend shared your site with me. The art and graphics are delightful. My 6 year old likes the yellow typewriter, I asked her what it was and she said “it’s an elephant butt”.
